Book burning was a fascist’s tool in Hitler’s Germany, as was fear. Wading up and throwing away or destroying documents which expose lies is a criminals tool, as is fear. These tools are used for only one purpose, which is to defeat the truth. Both fascists and criminals know that truth is their greatest enemy, for they cannot survive and increase their power over the people unless they do so by guilded use of lies. Thus they must rely upon these methods to suppress the truth, as they, along with more lies, are their only line of defense against the truth. The graphic which is the ProParanoid Press logo expresses the fear. In like manner, the wadded up piece of paper which is used for the ProParanoid Press Web site backgrounds represents attempts at concealment. ProParanoid Press stands against these things.

      Author H. Michael Sweeney has felt the fear, and has seen the truth destroyed by fascist criminals of the New World Order. But he knows, and hope you will agree, that as long as men are willing to rewrite the truth as fast as it can be destroyed, such sinister endeavor cannot long endure. They wither under the glaring illumination which truth shines down upon them.  For this cause, Mr. Sweeney has been researching and writing about abuse of power issues ever since the first Bush Administration, when ‘Men in Black’ (MIB) first put him under a full surveillance net and began to meddle in his life with an endless stream of dirty tricks.

      Why? Because he had come into possession of an unclassified document which claimed to expose the truth behind a long list of crimes by the intelligence community and a cabal of powerful men outside of government. Thus began a ten-year running battle with rogue elements of the military-industrial-intelligence-media complex, or what Mr. Sweeney calls MIIM, an expanded version of what President Eisenhower warned us against in his Farewell Address. 

      That war had a price, but it also had a destination. That destination was a series of books, any one of which could perhaps save a life (indeed, many have have so claimed for each that it has saved their lives already), and which are based on exposing fascism, criminals, and their lies. In defense, the fascist criminals of the New World Order sought to increase the fear, even to include attempts on his life. They sought to destroy the truth before the people could see or hear of it... but this did not stop him from going public.

      Strange things began to 'happen' when promoting his books on national radio. Telephone, radio, and Internet circuits laterally conspired to keep the shows from reaching the audience, and the audience from responding. Shows would be prefaced and followed by strange ‘dead line’ calls which offered only a series of odd tones, tones which were not like computer, telephone, fax, or modem tones. In between these two calls (when the show was on the air live), strange things would happen to the broadcasts, such as when Art Bell’s Coast to Coast AM was replaced in some markets with Art Linkletter’s Kids Say the Darndest Things (truly ‘funny’ as dirty tricks go), or caller lines lighting up would only reveal dead air when answered (Michael Corbin’s A Closer Look). In like manner, the ProParanoid Web site would simultaneously be targeted with a denial of service attack by select few military, scientific research center, and higher learning institution supercomputers, all sending a coordinated blizzard of staccato requests for the same Web document, many hundreds of times a second. Legitimate visitors only got error messages such as 'The page you have requested is not available.'

      And it did not stop there. It has since been reported that within hours of the Coast to Coast show, every single copy of his books were purchased by a single purchaser using a corporate credit  card. Shortly after that, his books were going used for as high as $55 at Amazon, prompting many owners and even other book stores to start advertising theirs for $30-$40. Someone (MIB?) was quickly snapping up all these other copies, too, but steadfastly leaving the $50 books alone, to insure that others would also be enticed to sell. In the intelligence community, such as process is called ‘book vanishing,’ a modern day version of book burning. 

      Book vanishing, as a process, usually also involves finding a way to persuade the publisher not to issue further editions. This too, happened to Mr. Sweeney, despite the fact that Amazon had thousands of orders which went unfulfilled. In fact, so many people wanted and could not get the book that it jumped to the top 25 titles overnight.
